International Center for Etudes (ICE)
Offering
Improving the Work
Environment
Training Program
Introduction:
Efficiency,
effectiveness, safety and employee motivation can improve
drastically by ensuring that we
work in an
organised work environment.
Without
considering complicated management theories, this presentation
demonstrates that practice
shows that
common sense is often more important. This course talks about things
every manager should
know, and
every manager or supervisor should practice. The topic for this
course is the subject about
improving
the working environment. A lot of managers and supervisors talk
about it, but only a few really
do it. A
quick win for such key people is to ensure a quality working
environment, that is, organizing the
workplace,
keeping it clean and orderly, and maintaining the standardized
conditions and discipline
needed to do
a good job.
The
methodology to be discussed during this presentation gives
guidelines to ensuring a quality working
environment
that motivates people, both on the shop-floor as well as others.
Thereby improving safety,
work
efficiency, productivity and establishes a sense of ownership.
