Course Objective:

Participants will gain a basic overview and understanding of cash management. Topics include role of Cash Management, understanding cash flows statement, analyzing financial statements, and other related topics.

 

Course Contents :

 

Cash Management an overview:

  • Illustrating cash management objectives.

  • Key roles & responsibilities. 

  • The role of Cash management

  •  The income statement and the balance sheet.

  • Describe the statement of cash flows, and define cash and cash equivalents. State the principal purposes and uses of the statement of cash flow.

  • Identify the principal components of the classification of cash flows and the two methods of reporting the cash flow statement.

  • Analyze the statement of cash flows.

Financial Statements Analysis and Cash Management:

  • Describe and discuss the standards of financial statement analysis.

  • State the sources of information for financial statement analysis.

  • Apply horizontal analysis and vertical analysis to financial statements.

  • Apply ratio analysis for financial statements.

Target Audience:

-  PFront line corporate cash management practitioners in finance and treasury functions, bankers and other financial services providers, and technical and administrative staff who support the corporate finance function.
